- Exhibition Hall
- Archival Library, which contains thousands of books published in pre-revolutionary Russia and by Russian emigrants, mostly in the Russian language. Some are very limited editions
- Periodicals Department with a collection of Russian newspapers and magazines published all over the world by Russian emigrants
- Archival Materials:
- Materials reflecting life in Russia prior to the revolution: documents of the Russo-Japanese War and World War One, materials regarding the Romanov dynasty, the Russian Spiritual Mission in China, and the Chinese Eastern Railway.
- Documents on the Russian Revolution and Civil war, the majority of which are materials on Siberia and the Far East.
- Materials concerning history of Russian emigration all over the world. Archives of emigre organizations, and personal archives.
A portion of the materials in the archive have been microfilmed or scanned. Unfortunately, more than half of stored documents remain inaccessible owing to shortage of financial aid. - A portion of periodicals and books from our collection at the Museum-archive has been microfilmed within the limits of the joint project with the Library of the California University in Berkeley during the 1980’s. These editions can be found in the library’s catalogue by entering the keyword ‘Museum of Russian Culture’. - 85 archival collections in 1999-2001 have been microfilmed within the limits of a joint project with the Hoover Institute. The list of collections of the Museum and their inventory are at the website.
- A list of persons buried at cemeteries near San Francisco, Sacramento, and in Alaska — Russian cemeteries index. This resource, which may prove useful to those looking for their relatives, is maintained by Museum’s president N. Koretsky.
