The Museum of Russian Culture is sad to announce that on March 20, 2021, the grandson of Major General Lev Antonovich Drozdovsky, a participant in the Russo-Japanese war and World War I, Doctor Olgard Dubbert, died in San Diego, surrounded by his relatives.

Olgard Dubbert was a great friend of our Museum and a donor. At the end of his speech at the meeting of Friends of the Museum, he presented us with the book “Riding the century” – the memoirs of his mother Alexandra Dabbert-Drozdovskaya, who since 1924 was recognized as the official court doctor of Haile Selassie, the last emperor of the Ethiopian Empire.
